Subtitle Screenshot Generator · What this tool does

Turn your own lines into subtitle screenshots, quote graphics and caption memes. Choose a built-in speech background or upload an image, use single-language or bilingual text, and adjust the font, size and color. The preview updates as you edit, and the finished screenshot downloads as PNG.

How to use it

  1. Choose a background or upload your own JPG or PNG.
  2. Enter the lines, select single-language or bilingual layout and adjust the text style.
  3. Review line breaks and subtitle placement, then save the PNG.

Practical tips

  • Use short lines for readability and align corresponding lines in bilingual content.
  • This creates captions on still images. It does not transcribe audio or export SRT subtitles.
  • Background width is capped at 800 pixels; use the drawing editor for larger text graphics.

Frequently asked questions

Can it automatically transcribe dialogue from a video?

No. It creates a still image from text you enter. If the dialogue is already visible in a screenshot, use online OCR to extract it before editing.

Can I use my own photo as the background?

Yes. Upload a local picture to replace the built-in background. The custom image appears in the preview and the result exports as PNG.
